Dead Country: Part of Lithuanian SSR from end of WWII. Now Part of Lithuania. After WWI, in 1919, it was administered by France under League of Nations mandate, but the Notgeld-like issues were in German Marks. In 1923 it was seized by Lithuania, and made into their autonomous territory of Klaipeda in 1945.
